Tipped to be one of London’s most prestigious residential areas Knightsbridge is also the British capital’s most exclusive shopping mecca. Located in West London, just south of iconic Hyde Park the area is identified as one of two international hubs in London with West End being the other. Knightsbridge encompasses most of Brompton, northern Knightsbridge and the eastern quarter of Belgravia. Renowned as a one stop retail heartland Knightsbridge’s most famous attribute is of course its luxury department stores, with iconic Harrods topping off the illustrious list of malls. As one of the largest shopping complexes of its kind in the globe the plush venue employs 3000 staff members and is divided in to 300 departments. There are also plenty of UK hotels to choose from such as the  Millennium & Copthorne Hotels UK which will cater to all their accommodation needs.

Other highlights for shopaholics in search of luxury designer goods include Knightsbridge’s massive Harvey Nichols department store which contains three floors full of designer clothing and an ultra chic beauty dept. The fifth floor contains a decadent food court with delicacies from around the world. Many of London’s home grown brand headquarters for footwear designers such as Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo also occupy the streets of Knightsbridge. The latest threads off the runways of the world’s fashion capitals are also found at Knightsbridge where two flagship Prada shops are located alongside Alfred Dunhill, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Roberto Cavalli and Marie-Chantal. Chic children’s wear can be found at Baby Dior, Kid Space and Armani Junior while Sloane Street in Knightsbridge is home to Katharine Hamnett, Alberta Ferretti, Gucci, Chloe, Chanel, Armani and Christian Dior outlets. Fashion accessories galore are available at Mont Blanc Boutique, Lulu Guinness, Mulberry, MCM Store and Fortuny.
Emilio Pucci, Burburry, Escada and two Dolce and Gabbana outlets also occupy the posh streets of the area in addition to Versace, Valentino, Vivienne Westwood, Yves Saint Laurent and Hermes outlets. Collector’s items such as antiques are also found at Knightsbridge where exclusive beauty salons and some of London’s finest fine dining restaurants are also on-site.
