When it comes to the United States, one place that is notoriously infamous is Miami, Florida. Featured as one of the primary locations in many shows and movies ranging from Dexter, to Goldfinger and most famously Miami Vice, Sea-Port city is one of the most iconic places in America. Naturally, the marine metropolis has a plethora of places to go and sights to see, but in this case our focus is the Bayside Marketplace. This is a shopping experience like no other and is known to attract more than fifteen million visitors every year.

Being considered a festival marketplace, the Bayside Marketplace is located in one of the most lavish areas of Miami, in close proximity to places such as COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach, a popular and unique luxury hotel Miami Beach has to offer.

The Bayside Marketplace opened in 1987, in the midst of a significant real-estate boom in the region, and instead of rebuilding an existing marina, the direction that was chosen was to complement it. The Marketplace is now an immense shopping institution containing an astounding assortment of stores where one can purchase anything ranging from children’s apparel, to electronics to luxury goods from labels such as Victoria’s Secret. There’s even the presence of a speciality Disney store.

What separates the Bayside Marketplace from an ordinary shopping wall are the wealth of experiences that are on offer. Visitors can choose to go on an adrenaline-fueled ‘Thriller-boat’ ride, or opt for something from a simpler time and embark on a mini-voyage on a Pirate-ship.

The events that take place at the Bayside Marketplace are wondrous as they are diverse, ranging from humble gatherings such as Farmer’s Markets to live-shows featuring major bands like Goo Goo Dolls.

A visit to Miami would not be the same without checking out the one-of-a-kind experience that awaits you at the Bayside Marketplace.
