This is a city of extraordinary beauty and it is also the capital of Thailand. Bangkok sees more tourists each year than any other city in the world. From luxury resorts and private villas to backpacker hostels, homestays and family hotels; in Bangkok, there is something for everyone. The imposing metropolis is home to shrines of glistening gold, mouthwatering street food and intricately woven waterways that sustain part of Bangkok’s transport and trade networks. The more modern side of the city offers luxury malls, restaurants serving fine cuisine and star class hotels like the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.

The original Siam Center is over forty years old but it was relaunched in 2013 as luxury shopping mall with a modern vibe that appeals to the young and trendy. The complex features over two hundred international and Thai brands. A number of rising stars in the Thai fashion industry have opened boutiques on the mall’s third floor. Several renowned Thai couturiers are also located within the complex along with other local brands like Jaspal, Lyn Around and Baking Soda. You will also find well-known international brands, namely: Steve Madden, Nike, Accessorize, Havianas, SuperDry and Levis. The mall also boasts the largest Forever 21 in the country.

The common spaces are adorned with a refreshingly interesting blend of technology and nature; carved wooden horses stand at the entrance and fitting rooms have been replaced by cutting-edge virtual displays. Explosions of neon are seen amongst shops designed like bird’s nests and tree branches that sprout from canvases. Highly polished marble covers the floors while the atrium’s ceiling has large screens that projects images. Toilet facilities are cleverly hidden on one floor behind mirrors and mannequins. Head to the top floor to fill your belly, many of the center’s eateries offering different international cuisines are located here along with an airy food court.
